My name is Ulf Estberg, and I am the Managing Director of Panasonic Fire & Security Europe. With a background in sales and marketing, I spend a significant amount of time engaging with customers and partners to understand their challenges and ensure our solutions continue to meet evolving market needs.
Panasonic Fire & Security Europe is a leading manufacturer of fire detection and life-safety solutions. Based in Sweden, we are dedicated to delivering innovative technologies that enhance safety, reliability, and user experience across critical environments.
Our fire detection systems have been successfully integrated with PACOM Unison solutions for decades, although much of the integration work has historically been delivered through our respective technology partners. As we now strengthen our direct relationship, I look forward to exploring how we can jointly deliver state-of-the-art solutions for the most advanced and demanding projects.
Absolutely. We see growing demand for integrated safety and security solutions. In recent years, we have expanded our platform by integrating emergency and exit lighting systems, helping organizations improve evacuation safety. The next step is voice alarm integration, enabling even more effective emergency response. Together with PACOM Unison, we can further enhance customer value by integrating fire detection with video verification, access control, and other critical security functions.
AI and advanced analytics have already been part of our fire detection technology for several years. Our detectors continuously analyze environmental conditions and automatically optimize sensitivity levels based on real-time data. This significantly reduces false alarms, one of the industry’s most persistent challenges, while improving overall reliability and safety.
What stood out to me during my conversation with Ulf was how central integration has become to modern security operations. Today’s customers are no longer looking for standalone systems; they are looking for connected environments that simplify operations, enhance situational awareness, and support better decision-making.
This is where partnerships between PACOM, Panasonic, and our broader technology ecosystem create real long-term value. By bringing together best-in-class technologies within a unified operational environment, we can help organizations improve both safety and operational efficiency.
