Out & About
PACOM has attended several events over the last few months which provided a great opportunity to meet up with customers around Europe.
In October we attended the SKYDD exhibition in Stockholm, Sweden, where the PACOM UNISON – and specifically the UNISON Visit System – took centre stage. Designed to replace a manual signing in process for single reception up to multi reception solutions – even across different countries – this system also creates and prints visitor badges. These are programmed to contain individual access information which can then be removed once the visitor leaves. Particularly popular for campus style environments with extensive visitor movements, such as airports or schools, our customers were keen to get hands on with this system, and feedback was extremely positive …
… as was our on-stand golfing competition, which provided visitors with a chance to win an array of prizes such as screwdriver sets, tape measures and sweets!
Also in October PACOM sponsored and attended the Observatorio de Seguridad Integral en Centros Sanitarios (OSICH), held in the Alcalá de Henares University Hospital. This association invites the Security Managers of Spanish Hospitals (both public and private institutions) to discuss their daily challenges and best practices in the industry. We promoted the achievement of our Grade 4 security certification – the highest grade attainable and very important in the healthcare sector – and also promoted our integrated systems, which are becoming highly sought-after in hospitals throughout Spain. This event proved very successful in gathering new leads and contacts as well as securing several contracts.
In November PACOM attended Expo-protection Exhibition in Paris, France, which was hosted at one of the largest exhibition centres in Europe – the Expo Porte De Versailles. The show was very well attended and we took this opportunity to focus on our GMS (Graphical Management System). This easy-to-use system ensures that multi-site organisations can manage all their sites via a single user-interface.
PACOM Unison was again a big attraction on the stand and its integration of 3rd party solutions such as fire alarms, elevators and CCTV was of real interest to customers. Last, but not least, we demonstrated a range of new readers including the 8101 keypad reader.
