Real-Time Mustering

PACOM GMS real-time mustering enables authorised operators to see who is in and who is out of a site. A log lists all cardholders who have entered and/or exited via nominated readers.

Any reader can be designated as an entry or exit reader. When a cardholder presents their card to an entry reader, the GMS Mustering screen will log them as “IN”. Similarly, their status will be changed to “OUT” when they leave via the exit reader.

The cardholder’s status is updated in real-time so operators know immediately if someone is inside or outside of a specific area. This can be useful for emergency situations. When emergency situations are unfolding, the last-known location tracking becomes invaluable for your company’s emergency coordinators to account for staff. These systems aid wardens who might need to sweep your facility. Or identify and track essential personnel who must remain in the facility to shut down critical business operations.

In these scenarios managing on-site visitors and contractors also becomes much easier. These visitors and contractors will be least familiar with your company’s preparedness plan, and most likely to neither adhere to expected evacuation routes nor find muster areas.

A print button is conveniently located on the screen so a muster report can be generated immediately. For many organisations these systems are a smart, effective investment for one of the most critical aspects of their business management.
