Monitoring Power Supply Enclosure

The PACOM 8303 power supply unit provides a regulated 15VDC supply for powering controllers and peripheral devices and to charge backup batteries. 8303s are configured, controlled and monitored remotely by means of PACOM security management software. A PACOM controller acts as an interface to the PACOM 8303 power supply and connects via the RS485 interface.
The PACOM 8303 monitoring power supply unit features remote diagnostic capabilities that allow it to simulate power failure for testing backup batteries and to monitor DC output and battery voltages. The power supply itself and the mounting enclosure temperatures are also monitored. The 8303 is capable of notifying the security system if any monitored or diagnostic parameters fall outside specified limits.
